Dana Lewisohn, LCSW is the owner and founder of The EmpowHERment Collective, a virtual mental health practice dedicated to supporting women through every stage of life. Dana specializes in women’s mental health, including perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, maternal mental wellness, family conflict, divorce, and life transitions.

She holds advanced training and certifications in Perinatal Mood Disorders and Mental Health from PSI International, along with specialized training and certification in Bowen Family Systems Theory and Adoption Counseling from Rutgers University.

As a mother of two boys, Dana understands the chaos, joy, and emotional overload that often come with “mom life.” She brings not only clinical expertise but also humor, warmth, and real-life perspective to her sessions, creating a space where clients feel seen, supported, and safe to be their authentic selves. Her mission is to help women stop putting themselves last and start prioritizing their mental health with confidence and compassion.

Dana founded The EmpowHERment Collective out of a deep desire to create the kind of mental health practice designed for women’s unique emotional journeys. She envisioned a space that was not only clinically sound but also compassionate, accessible, and affirming. A place where women could find the specialized support they deserve at every life stage.

Through personalized therapy and specialized support, Dana is dedicated to helping women feel heard, understood, and empowered as they navigate life’s challenges.
